Hevea, the Danish Designer brand was formed by Terese Hofffeldt in 2008
when she struggle to find an organic, as well as sustainable soother,
for her daughter. Terese has a Master in Marketing and a BA in
International business from the University of North London. Terese has
since graduation in 1999 worked with marketing for example Carlsberg
brewery and Mars (confectionary, pet-care and food manufacturer) and is
now hard at work at developing her stylish sustainable and organic range
of natural products.
The name "Hevea" comes from the Latin name
for a rubber tree, Hevea Brasiliensis, which grows both in the wild and
in plantations.
Hevea have excellent cooperation with the owner
of a production plant in Malaysia who guarantees that the workers are
well paid and have their rights respected.
Furthermore, the
producer is required to allocate money to replant rubber trees as well
as research and development, when the pacifiers are produced i.e. when
buying the latex. Production of Hevea is sustainable and provides a
minimum burden on the environment.
Product features:
-100% natural rubber latex teether, absolutely no chemicals or phalates -Gentle surface for soothing irritated gums -Sustainably produced -Hygienic, solid design prevents bacteria -Easy to grip and can be attached to a soother holder
While
many other soothers are packed in unnecessary amounts of plastic, Hevea
is packaged in a beautifully designed box of recycled and biodegradable
materials, printed with soya inks.
Hevea is an extraordinary good soother. Not just for your child, but also for the environment!
Note: comes in presentation box
Note: Hevea pacifiers are of course tested to prove that they meet EU standard EN1400 |
